Papyrus needed a launch video to accompany their new "Here for Life" brand identity, introducing a bold rebrand to the public after nearly 30 years under their previous visual identity. The video had to carry the weight of their mission, reaching a wide audience across age, background, and experience of suicide, while feeling hopeful rather than heavy.

The Solution
I developed a 60-second animated launch film working solo across creative direction, motion design, and sound design. Starting from their new brand guidelines and assets, I created storyboards and an animatic, refining the approach with the client before moving into full animation and delivery across multiple formats.

Working from Papyrus's brand guidelines and assets, I built a visual language around their holding devices, speech bubbles, and graphic elements, adding effects to create a hand animated feel. Smooth match cuts kept the tone heartfelt without being flat, while the colour palette shifts with the emotional beats of the script before returning home to close on a custom animated logo.
